“Workshop on SMART Informatics for Sustainability”

21 – 23 March 2018, Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand

Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute (HAII) under Ministry of Science and Technology, Thailand is going to organize the workshop on “SMART Informatics for Sustainability” on 21 – 23 March 2018 as a part of Thailand’s ASEAN NEXT 2018 “Rising STI Networking for Innovative ASEAN” during 19 – 23 March 2018.

This workshop will be an opportunity to exchange information between representatives from agencies in the area of water, weather and disaster risk reduction to strengthen partnership to support ASEAN Hydroinformatics and Climate Data Center (AHC). The workshop expected to create data sharing, and technology matching for implementing AHC project.

Objectives

  1. Promote the implementation of hydroinformatics and related technologies for efficient water management and disaster risk reduction within ASEAN
  2. Strengthen the connectivity among water, weather and disaster related agencies in ASEAN region
  3. Illustrate the understanding of informatics implementation and application towards sustainability and technology matching for informatics synergy

Call for Technology Demonstration

During the workshop on 21st March 2018, we would like to invite scientists, researchers, policy makers, practitioners and those who are ASEAN participants to present and demonstrate their own technology at Session 3: Country Showcase & Demonstration on “SMART Informatics in operation towards sustainability”.

Deadline of Submission for Demonstration Abstract  is 16th February 2018.
